Linking and adding your social media accounts

IMPORTANT

Before you start using Social Media Plus, it is important that you know a few things:

- You shouldn’t use your Instagram account while our service is active. We advice against using any manual activity, such as like, comments, follows and unfollows, while your account is linked to the application: such activities interfere with the processes of Social Media Plus, and may result in a temporary blocking. For example: if you program 10 likes per hour, yet you manually send more likes, this would exceed the number of likes allowed for your account and Instagram might block you for a few hours.

- Once you link your account to our platform, you shouldn’t change your name on Instagram (preferably). This might lead to the loss of your accumulated progress -for Instagram might consider it “suspicious activity”- and you might need to start from scratch.

- It is necessary for you to carefully follow the instructions on the “Speed” section. This is so you may keep your account activity safe at all times, and that it may not be listed as spam. 

- It is likely for your account to experience temporary blockings. This is because your Instagram requires to “get used” to this kind of interactions. This is, if you normally sent 5 likes per day and the application starts to send 48 likes a day, Instagram might see this as “suspicious activity”. Don’t worry; this will happen only until your account gets up to speed. Don’t fret; it’s normal :)

Follow the entire documentation to start growing your social networks. By default, you will get a 14-day trial after registering at Social Media Plus. In case you wish to buy any of our deals, the time of your trial will be added to it.

How to link my accounts?

By clicking on the “Add” icon (an encircled plus sign) you can add the social media accounts you wish to manage. Should you be on the trial version, all of the social networks will be available (except for Facebook and Pinterest, which are yet to be implemented). 

To add an account, just click on the plus sign “ + “ and fill the required information. The only platform that requires a proxy is Instagram.

Link your Instagram account

To link your Instagram account, write your username (not your email) and your password. On the Proxy section:

1. If you’re a paid subscriber, we will provide you with a URL to fill this space. 

2. If you’re in the trial version, leave it blank.

Finally, click on “Add account”. You will receive a verification code, which you will require to complete your registration.

If you do not receive a verification code, try any of the following options:

1.-  Login into your Instagram app from your phone: you will receive a notification of someone trying to access your account from another location. Click on “It was me”, and try to add your account again on our app. Repeat this process once again if necessary: it should allow you to add your account.

2.- Login into your Instagram app from your phone, erase the cell phone number you have linked to it and either link it again or link a different one. Once you’re done, return to our app and add your account.
